Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Copper Brazing Technician to join our manufacturing team in Utah. You will perform precision brazing, interpret blueprints, and operate torches with strict safety and quality controls.

Responsibilities include brazing copper components, ensuring leak-proof joints, maintaining documentation, and supporting pressure testing. Ideal candidates have 3+ years brazing, ISO 13585, and AWS B2.2 certifications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of copper brazing experience.
• Proficient with oxy-acetylene torches and heat control.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow procedures.
• Knowledge of flux behavior and joint preparation.
• Experience with induction heating and temperature indicators.
• Able to maintain documentation, travelers, and inspection records.

Responsibilities

• Braisng copper components to create leak-proof joints.
• Interpret blueprints and instructions for accurate assembly.
• Operate torches with safety and precision.
• Prepare copper pipes and fittings for brazing.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain organized workspace.
• Support leak/pressure testing and rework verification.
