Job summary

System One in York, PA is seeking a Control Panel Assembler to read schematics, lay out panels, and assemble back plates with accurate wiring. You will use drills, punches, and crimpers to mount components and ensure clean, precise layouts per manufacturing drawings.

The role requires at least 2 years in control panel assembly, basic electrical knowledge, and the ability to work overtime as needed. Direct hire, onsite schedule Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have basic understanding of electrical components.
• Minimum 2 years in control panel assembly or equivalent.
• Ability to read tape measure and use own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Read electrical schematics and layout drawings.
• Read Bill of Materials and identify all components.
• Layout cabinet holes and back plate components per drawings.
• Use drills, taps, punches, and saws for mounting and access holes.
• Label and assemble back plate components.
• Wire back plate and cabinet per electrical schematic using strippers and crimpers.
• Contribute to quality improvements, reduce production times and costs.
• Maintain housekeeping and follow safety procedures.
