Job summary

System One in York, PA is seeking a Control Panel Assembler to read schematics, lay out panels, and assemble back plates with accurate wiring. You will use drills, punches, and crimpers to mount components and ensure clean, precise layouts per manufacturing drawings.

The role requires at least 2 years in control panel assembly, basic electrical knowledge, and the ability to work overtime as needed. Direct hire, onsite schedule Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have basic understanding of electrical components.
• Minimum 2 years in control panel assembly or equivalent.
• Ability to read tape measure and use own hand tools.

Job Title: Control Panel Assembler
Location: York, Pennsylvania
Type: Direct Hire
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm, OT as needed

Responsibilities

• Read and understand electrical schematics and layout drawings.
• Read Bill of Materials and identify all components.
• Use measuring device to lay out cabinet holes and cutouts and back plate components per manufacturing layout drawings.
• Use drills, taps, punches, and saws for mounting and access holes.
• Label and assemble back plate components.
• Wire back plate and cabinet per electrical schematic using strippers, crimpers, with high degree of neatness.
• Contribute to making improvements in quality, reducing production times and cost reductions.
• Maintain good housekeeping and follow all Company safety procedures and rules.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years working in control panel assembly or equivalent.
• Must have a basic understanding of electrical components.
• Must have basic to intermediate mechanical skills for measuring, cutting, and laying out of panels.
• Must have experience using a variety of related hand tools such as drills, taps, punches, etc.
• Ability to read a tape measure and provide own hand tools.
• Must be available to work overtime as needed.
• Physical and medical standards for this post must be met by the incumbent passing a physical examination by a company approved physician.
