Job summary

Bright Innovation Labs is seeking Compounding Technicians to join our expanding team in New Albany, OH. This full-time, direct-hire role targets dependable individuals with a keen eye for quality and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will mix, compound, test, and adjust ingredients to produce high-quality personal care products, while ensuring each batch meets specifications and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of compounding experience; cosmetic/personal care environment preferred.
• Forklift certification required (or ability to obtain).
• Strong attention to detail and dependability.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English; Spanish a plus.
• Basic math proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals).
• Ability to interpret instructions and carry them out with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Mix, compound, process, test, adjust, and modify ingredients to complete the manufacturing process of personal care products.
• Ensure all production meets customer specifications and quality standards.
• Communicate with the Compounding Supervisor/Manager and production staff to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Maintain GMP, SOP, and Safety Procedures at all times.
• Inspect and monitor in-process production for accuracy and compliance.
• Safely handle, store, and manage all materials required for production.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations, safety policies, labor laws, and company standards.
• Inspect and maintain production equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Participate in ongoing training including GMP, SOP, safety, and cross-training.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals.
