Job summary

ST Engineering MRAS is seeking a meticulous assembler/fabricator to fabricate and repair complex composite and metal bonded assemblies. You will work from engineering drawings, prepare materials, and ensure tight tolerances in fixtures that may lack stops or locators.

You will be responsible for planning fabrication steps, using templates, and ensuring clean, accurate post-cure handling. This role requires working with various tools in a safety-conscious environment, with opportunities for

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret complex assembly drawings, lofts, and specs.
• Broad shop trade knowledge of bonding procedures.
• Comfort working with precision measuring instruments and shop mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and repair complex composite and metal bonded assemblies.
• Plan fabrication by studying drawings and specifications.
• Prepare materials, molds, patterns, adhesives for bonding processes.
• Lays-out resin impregnated sheets and aligns laminates to meet tolerances.
• Assemble components and verify fit against drawings and sketches.
