Job summary

ofi North America (Olam Food Ingredients) is seeking a Coffee Roaster to safely operate roasters and monitor parameters through the roasting process. The role includes troubleshooting, adjusting recipes, and ensuring color, moisture, and taste specifications are met while maintaining product integrity and customer satisfaction.

You will work with cross-functional teams to meet production targets, inspect equipment, and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of production-related experience in food and beverage is required.
• Previous roasting experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor coffee roasting equipment per manufacturer instructions to ensure safety and product quality.
• Roast green coffee to meet production schedules and customer specifications.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and records of production.
• Follow recipe guides and adjust machine settings to achieve desired roast profiles.
• Coordinate with Quality, Planning, Processing, Maintenance and Logistics as needed.
• Perform operator-level preventative maintenance after training and certification.
