Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Connecticut is seeking an experienced CNC Vertical Turning Lathe Operator to run VTLs with a strong emphasis on quality and production efficiency.

You will read blueprints, interpret work orders, inspect parts, and document production records while coordinating with shifts to meet customer specifications. A High School Diploma or GED and VTL experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years CNC Operator experience, preferably on VTLs.
• Equivalent knowledge, skills, and demonstrated abilities may be considered.
• HS diploma or GED required; manufacturing or aerospace experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Vertical Turning Lathes (VTLs) safely and efficiently.
• Maintain quality control throughout the machining process.
• Inspect and measure in-process and finished parts with precision tools.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor promptly.
• Follow SOPs, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
