Job summary

BestLogic Staffing is seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist to operate and maintain CNC Vertical Turning Lathe equipment for our clients' manufacturing operations in Connecticut. You will set up, program, and run CNC VTL machines to produce high-precision components according to drawings and safety standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of CNC experience, strong G-code knowledge, and excellent measurement and quality control skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical machining training preferred.
3–5 years CNC machining experience; VTL experience preferred.
Ability to set up, edit programs, and run CNC machines independently.
Knowledge of G-code and CNC controls (Fanuc/Siemens).
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC Vertical Turning Lathes to machine precision components.
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
Perform machine offsets, adjustments, and tool changes as needed.
Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools.
Maintain routine machine/tool preventive maintenance and clean, safe work area.
Document work and inspection records; troubleshoot quality issues to maintain flow.
