Lusk Quality is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join a family-owned shop that specializes in high-volume precision turning. You will set up and run multi-axis lathes, read and interpret engineering drawings, and ensure parts meet exact specifications using precision gauges.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Mazak, Eurotech, Miyano, or Nakamura machines is highly valued, along with GD&T expertise and a strong attention to

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Hands-on experience operating CNC lathes (multi-axis experience valued).
Proficiency with hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
Reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

Set up and run CNC lathes to produce precision components to specification.
Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to plan machining operations.
Select, install, and qualify cutting tools, attachments, and workholding.
Continuously monitor cycle performance and product quality, adjusting parameters to maintain spec.
Inspect parts using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines in top condition.
Uphold manufacturing principles, safety practices, and company policies at all times.
