Job summary

Instrument Development Company in Mukwonago, WI is seeking a skilled Mill-Turn Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate and maintain CNC mill-turn machines, reading blueprints and setup sheets to produce high-precision parts according to specifications.

The role requires 2–3 years of CNC Mill/Turn experience, familiarity with Esprit/CAD/CAM, and a strong eye for detail, safety, and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience operating CNC Mill/Turn machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of multi-axis CNC turning mills and advanced machine tools.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mill-turn machines to perform precision turning/milling operations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and setup sheets to determine machining procedures; use Esprit or manual programming.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure tolerance and quality.
• Perform routine maintenance on turning mills and report issues to maintenance teams.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and comply with safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with engineers, quality control, and supervisors to ensure timely production.
