Job summary

thyssenkrupp rothe erde in Aurora, OH is seeking a CNC Machinist for first shift. You will perform physical operations of a machining center, organize workflow and plan machining sequences to meet drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities include monitoring product quality, planning machining with asset knowledge, understanding GD&T, setting up machines, and navigating Fanuc/Siemens controls to optimize operations. A high school diploma and machining experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with machining operations and practices is required.
• Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint interpretation is required.

Responsibilities

• Through monitoring and measurement, assure that products meet customer expectations
• Plan machining by understanding assets and related equipment
• Understand all GD&T requirements for any given process
• Machine setup along with program downloading and editing
• Asset knowledge of Fanuc or Siemens interface and the knowledge to navigate the control to improve operations
• Understanding of tooling, knowledge of turning and drilling tools
• Maintain work cell to premium standards
