Job summary

thyssenkrupp rothe erde is seeking a Machinist to perform physical operations of a machining center, plan workflows, and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications. This is a 1st shift position with a 3rd shift note in the ad.

The role requires high school or GED and prior machining experience, plus GD&T knowledge and blueprint reading skills. Export control compliance is required as part of the job duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous machining experience and practices required.
• Blueprint and GD&T knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and measure to ensure products meet customer expectations.
• Plan machining by understanding assets and related equipment.
• Understand GD&T requirements for processes.
• Machine setup with program downloading and editing.
• Navigate Fanuc or Siemens interfaces to improve operations.
• Understand tooling and turning/drilling tools.
