Job summary

thyssenkrupp rothe erde is seeking a machinist to perform physical operations of a machining center, organize workflow and plan machining sequences, and ensure all work meets drawings and specifications. This is a 1st shift position.

You will monitor products, plan tooling and setups, understand GD&T, and navigate Fanuc or Siemens controls to improve operations. A high school diploma or GED and previous machining experience are required; the role includes comprehensive benefits and a strong team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous machining experience and practices.
• Blueprint and GD&T knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Through monitoring and measurement, assure that products meet customer expectations.
• Plan machining by having understanding of assets and related equipment.
• Understand all GD&T requirements for any given process.
• Machine setup along with program downloading and editing.
• Asset knowledge of Fanuc or Siemens interface and the knowledge to navigate the control to improve operations.
• Understanding of tooling, knowledge of turning and drilling tools.
• Maintain work cell to premium standards.
