Job summary

thyssenkrupp rothe erde is seeking a 1st shift Machining Center Operator in Ohio to perform the physical operations, organize workflows, and plan machining sequences to meet drawings and specifications.

You will work with Fanuc or Siemens controls, apply GD&T knowledge and tooling understanding, and maintain a clean, high‑quality work cell while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous machining experience and practices expected.
• Blueprints and GD&T knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products meet customer expectations through monitoring and measurement.
• Plan machining by understanding assets and related equipment.
• Understand all GD&T requirements for the process.
• Perform machine setup with program downloading and editing.
• Navigate Fanuc or Siemens control to improve operations.
• Maintain turning and drilling tooling; keep work cell at premium standards.
