Zing Recruiting is partnering with a U.S.-based manufacturing company in Warsaw, Indiana that specializes in medical and orthopedic instruments. We are seeking a 2nd or 3rd Shift CNC Machinist to join the team.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating CNC Swiss-style lathes, performing tool changes, offsets and program adjustments, reading engineering drawings and GD&T, machining stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, and other alloys, and inspecting parts with precision tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of CNC Swiss Lathe experience
• Experience with setup and operation of Swiss-type CNC Machine
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Experience using precision measuring instruments
• Basic mathematical skills

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Swiss-style lathe's
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and program adjustments
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications
• Machine materials such as stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, and specialty alloys
• Inspect parts using Micrometers, calipers, optical comparators and other precision measuring tools
