Job summary

Avalign Technologies in Warsaw, IN is seeking a CNC Swiss Lathe Operator on a 2nd shift to join our team and support the manufacture of high‑quality medical devices.

You will operate and maintain CNC Swiss lathe machines, read blueprints, perform setups, and verify parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision tools, while following strict procedures and documentation.

Qualifications

• Successful operation of CNC Swiss lathe machines and controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and work operation sheets.
• Proficient use of calipers, micrometers, height gauge, and related tools.
• Detail-oriented with strong quality-check discipline per AQL.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CNC Swiss style lathe machines, finish machines, hand tools, fixtures, and jigs.
• Run production per established procedures and guidelines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, inspection check-sheets, and instructions.
• Set up parts according to blueprints and set-up sheets.
• Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, height stands, and other inspection tools.
• Make machine adjustments and tool changes as required.
• Interface with work orders and production paperwork.
