A complete application in a minute — tailored resume and cover letter, ready to send.
Torrey Holistics is seeking a skilled CNC setup technician to prepare multi-axis machines, verify programs, and ensure first-piece quality. You will read blueprints, apply GD&T, and work with tooling to sustain tight tolerances.
You will troubleshoot machining challenges, support operators, and maintain safe, audit-ready work areas while continuously improving processes for efficiency and accuracy.
You arrive to a clean, quality-driven shop and open the day’s print package. Before the first chip flies, you’re mounting fixtures, loading or verifying the CNC program, and dialing in tooling so that the first piece comes off right. Calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges live at your station, because you’ll run a thorough first-article, confirm dimensions to tight tolerances, and make smart offsets to lock in process stability for the run.
As production moves, you watch tool wear, listen for changes in machine performance, and adjust feeds and speeds to keep parts on-size and cycle times efficient. Operators look to you for guidance; you help them understand work instructions, answer questions, and step in to troubleshoot setups or tooling issues to minimize downtime. Throughout the shift, you document setups and in-process checks, and you keep your area safe, orderly, and audit-ready.
Join a team that values precision, reliability, and attention to detail—where your setups directly drive quality and productivity.
If you take pride in proving out a process and delivering precision parts, we’d like to meet you.
