Job summary

Peninsular Cylinder is seeking a skilled CNC machinist to set up and operate Haas VMCs and lathes. You will read drawings, select tools, load programs, and make offsets to hit tight targets.

You will maintain tooling, perform light edits at the control, and keep a clean, organized station. GD&T expertise and strong G-code/M-code knowledge are essential for on-time deliveries in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• Must have GD&T expertise.
• Proficient with G-code and M-code.
• Solid CNC setup and changeover know‑how.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Haas CNC mills and lathes.
• Interpret drawings/blueprints to guide machining.
• Select and stage tools for the job.
• Load programs at the machine.
• Make offsets to hit targets.
• Maintain tooling and replace as needed.
• Make light edits to programs at the control.
• Keep a clean, organized work area.
