Qualifications

• 1+ years of CNC machining experience or training.
• High school diploma or GED; vocational CNC training is a plus.
• Proficiency in CNC programming and CAD/CAM software.
• Experience with HAAS VF-8/40 is advantageous.
• Ability to work unsupervised and maintain high quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements and parameters.
• Program CNC machines using SolidWorks and FeatureCAM to create precise machining instructions.
• Set up CNC machines by installing tools, attachments, and loading raw materials to prepare for production.
• Operate CNC Milling machine, a Haas VF-8/40, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to specifications.
• Adjust machine settings and calibrate equipment to meet the desired product specifications.
• Perform quality checks and first article inspections to verify that machined parts meet design and quality standards.
• Maintain and clean CNC machines regularly, keeping detailed records of maintenance activities and part production.
• Manage and remove scrap material from the machine to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
