Qualifications

• 1) Experience in CNC machining or equivalent training (1+ years).
• 2) Education: High school diploma or GED; additional CNC training desirable.
• 3) Proficiency in programming CNC machines and CAD/CAM software. HAAS VF-8/40 experience advantageous.
• 4) Ability to work unsupervised and manage tasks with high quality.
• 5) Strong problem-solving to troubleshoot machine performance and production issues.
• 6) Excellent mechanical aptitude to understand complex machinery and tooling.
• 7) Outstanding organizational and record-keeping skills for maintenance and production data.
• 8) Effective teamwork and communication with colleagues and supervisors.
• 9) Must pass physical examination (vision, hearing, mobility).
• 10) Demonstrated reliable work history and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Program CNC machines using SolidWorks and FeatureCAM to create machining instructions.
• Set up CNC machines by installing tools and loading materials.
• Operate Haas VF-8/40 milling machine to required specs.
• Adjust machine settings and calibrate equipment to meet tolerances.
• Perform quality checks and first article inspections.
• Maintain and clean CNC machines, keeping maintenance records.
• Manage and remove scrap material to keep workspace efficient.
