Qualifications

• Read engineering drawings and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) to machining processes.
• Experience with G-code/M-code and CAM software for program development and verification.
• Ability to translate engineering requirements into safe, efficient machining sequences.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and maintain CNC programs from drawings, models, and specs.
• Develop machining sequences, select tools, holders, workholding, speeds, feeds, and setup strategies.
• Use CAD/CAM tools and simulations to identify machining risks before release.
• Support first-piece prove-outs, machine setups, troubleshooting, and program adjustments on the floor.
• Optimize toolpaths, cycle times, tool life, surface finish, and dimensional consistency.
• Prepare setup sheets, tooling lists, and operator instructions; maintain revision control.
• Collaborate with quality to verify prints and dimensional compliance.
• Assist with fixture concepts and feedback on manufacturability.
