Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a CNC Programmer to develop and optimize CNC programs for precision machined parts. You will translate engineering drawings, solid models, and manufacturing requirements into safe, efficient machining processes that consistently meet dimensional and finish specifications.

Work closely with machinists, manufacturing engineering, and quality personnel to select tooling, workholding, speeds, feeds, and setups; verify programs with CAD/CAM simulation; and support

Qualifications

• Practical CNC programming experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and apply GD&T to machining processes.
• Familiarity with G-code, M-code and basic tooling/workholding concepts.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software, program verification, and shop-floor troubleshooting.
• Ability to use precision inspection tools and communicate with machinists and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and maintain CNC programs from engineering drawings and requirements.
• Develop machining sequences, select tooling, workholding, speeds/feeds, and setup strategies.
• Use CAD/CAM tools and simulations to identify machining risks before release.
• Support first-piece prove-outs, machine setups, troubleshooting, and program adjustments.
• Optimize toolpaths, cycle times, tool life, surface finish, and dimensional consistency.
• Prepare setup sheets, tooling lists, documentation, and revision control.
• Collaborate with quality to address dimensional issues and verify prints.
• Assist with fixture concepts and provide feedback on manufacturability.
