Qualifications

• Practical CNC programming experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and apply GD&T to machining processes.
• Working knowledge of G-code, M-code, tooling, and workholding.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software and program verification on the shop floor.
• Ability to communicate effectively with machinists and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and maintain CNC programs from drawings and models.
• Develop machining sequences and select tools, speeds, and setups.
• Use CAD/CAM tools to simulate and verify programs before release.
• Support first-piece prove-outs, setups, troubleshooting, and adjustments.
• Optimize toolpaths, cycle times, tool life, and surface finish.
• Prepare setup sheets, tooling lists, and operator instructions.
• Collaborate with quality to verify prints and dimensional accuracy.
• Assist with fixture concepts and feedback on manufacturability.
