Blueworx Staffing in Claremore, OK is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to develop, optimize, and validate CNC programs for precision components across aerospace, defense, automotive, and energy sectors.

You will translate drawings and 3D models into efficient machining processes, collaborate with machinists, Engineering, Production, and Quality to ensure parts meet specifications, and drive continuous improvements in throughput and quality.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in CNC Programming, Machining, or a related field.
• 3+ years of CNC programming experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Multi-axis mill and lathe programming experience.
• Experience with GD&T and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize CNC programs using Esprit, Edgecam, and Catia.
• Import 3D CAD models and translate into CAM toolpaths.
• Select cutting strategies, feeds, speeds, and tooling for machining.
• Design and program tooling, fixtures, and workholding solutions.
• Generate and verify post-processed G-code and M-code.
• Program CNC lathes, mills, and 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centers.
• Optimize toolpaths to reduce cycle times and scrap.
• Work with machinists to set up CNC equipment and validate programs.
• Read engineering drawings and GD&T callouts to ensure accuracy.
