Job summary

KLA Industries seeks a hands-on Preventative Maintenance Technician to support a precision CNC manufacturing environment. You will perform scheduled PM on CNC machine tools and related equipment to maximize uptime, reliability, accuracy, and tool life.

You will work with production to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption, inspect and service lubrication, coolant, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and coordinate with vendors for complex repairs.

Qualifications

• Experience performing preventative maintenance in a CNC machining or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of CNC equipment such as mills, lathes, machining centers.
• Ability to read equipment manuals and maintenance schedules.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and coolant systems.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on CNC equipment (mills, lathes, machining centers) per OEM and PM schedules.
• Inspect, lubricate, clean, adjust, and replace machine components as required.
• Maintain lubrication, coolant, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Identify abnormal conditions and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Coordinate complex repairs with vendors or OEM service technicians.
• Maintain maintenance logs and schedules.
