Job summary

Rosco Vision in New York is seeking a CNC Set-Up / Operator to set up, operate, and monitor CNC machinery and produce precision parts per drawings and instructions. Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform machine setups independently are required.

The role requires reading blueprints, interpreting GD&T, adjusting offsets and speeds, and maintaining quality production records. This full-time on-site position offers health benefits and 10 paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Basic GD&T knowledge and precision measurement skills.
• Ability to read calipers, micrometers and height gauges accurately.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including tooling and program loading.
• Read engineering drawings and verify dimensions with precision instruments.
• Adjust offsets, feeds, speeds, and tooling as needed.
• Load/unload materials safely and maintain clean work area.
• Inspect parts against drawings and report quality issues.
• Maintain production records and follow SOPs and 5S standards.
