RTC in Romeoville, IL is seeking a Machine Set-Up and Operator to ensure CNC machinery is properly configured, runs smoothly, and produces parts that meet quality standards. You will review blueprints, secure pieces, monitor tooling, and verify measurements with gauges as you set up and run jobs.

The role requires a high school diploma and CNC Certification with at least one year of setup/operator experience.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CNC Certification with at least one year of setup experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and work instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.

Mansioni

• Study blueprints and work orders to ensure proper setup sequence.
• Secure workpieces using clamps and wrenches.
• Monitor gauges/calipers/micrometers for proper operation.
• Produce first piece samples and conduct quality tests per policies.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate with quality/engineering to resolve issues.
• Visually inspect parts for conformance to standards.
