Job summary

Rosenboom is seeking a CNC Machinist who sets up and operates CNC equipment, holds tight tolerances, and produces high-quality finished parts in a safe, team-oriented environment. In this hands-on role, you’ll interpret blueprints, monitor performance, and help ensure parts meet exact specifications.

Responsibilities include performing inspections with micrometers and calipers, troubleshooting machine issues, and maintaining efficiency.

Qualifications

Basic CNC machining knowledge or experience (setup, operation, or machining processes preferred).
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools to verify part accuracy.
Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills, including basic shop math and problem-solving.
High school diploma or GED preferred, with relevant training or experience in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

Sets up and operates numerical control machines to cut, shape, or form metal work pieces to specifications.
Interpret blueprints, prints, and setup sheets to determine machining processes, tooling, and dimensions.
Perform part inspections and ensure quality using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues, making adjustments to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
