Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 3-5 years experience as Fabricator/Die Maker preferred.
• Ability to operate Lathe; mill; grinder; and other fabrication tools.
• Welding certification (AWS) and advanced welding experience helpful.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints.
• Knowledge of machining tolerances and basic GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently to manufacture parts per specifications.
• Set up and run CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and basic machine adjustments.
• Verify part dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Inspect completed parts for quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain documentation for completed jobs and inspections.
• Troubleshoot minor machining issues and escalate major concerns as needed.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and daily cleaning on machines.
• Follow PPE requirements and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Support continuous improvement to reduce scrap and downtime.
• Assist with fixture setup, tooling organization, and shop organization as needed.
