Job summary

Inalfa Roof Systems is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to set up and run CNC mills and lathes, read blueprints, and ensure part accuracy. You will work in the Maintenance & Technical Services department at the Cherokee Assembly location on a full-time, on-site basis.

Responsibilities include tool changes, basic machine adjustments, and ensuring quality parts. Familiarity with IATF 16949 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 is valued along with a proactive mindset for safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC mills and lathes.
• Proficient in G-code and M-code programming.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Familiar with GD&T and precision tolerances.
• IATF 16949 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently to manufacture parts per specifications.
• Set up and run CNC mills, lathes, and other equipment.
• Read blueprints and engineering drawings; interpret work instructions.
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and basic machine adjustments.
• Verify part dimensions with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Document completed jobs and inspections.
• Troubleshoot minor machining issues and support maintenance.
