Job summary

Accurus Aerospace Kent, LLC is seeking CNC Machine Operators to set up and operate computer-controlled Vertical and Horizontal CNC machines. Candidates will interpret blueprints, perform daily checks, and ensure parts meet specifications using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a manufacturing shop environment. Eligible applicants have a high school diploma or GED and may have completed Level I Operator training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience reading blueprints, sketches, and work instructions is required.
• Completion of internal Level I Operator training or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Vertical and Horizontal machines.
• Accurately locate/identify X, Y, Z axes on machines.
• Perform daily checks and report concerns to supervisor.
• Interpret blueprints and setup sheets to machine parts to specification.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to verify dimensions.
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE at all times.
