Job summary

The Dixon Group in Winchester, Virginia is seeking a CNC Operator to safely operate and maintain CNC machinery to manufacture precision metal components. You will work with calibrated tooling, read blueprints, and verify tolerances to ensure top-quality parts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with CNC experience.
• Read blueprints, strong math, and use precision tools.
• Willing to learn machine setup and improve.
• Detail-oriented team player focused on safety.
• Able to stand for the full shift and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Steel-toe shoes are required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CNC machines using robot tables, fixtures, or hand-loading techniques to manufacture precision metal components.
• Conduct quality checks using calipers and gauges to ensure parts meet drawing tolerances.
• Adjust machine offsets and diagnose minor issues to keep production accurate.
• Complete daily maintenance to keep equipment running safely.
• Enter production data and adapt to rotating assignments as needed.
