Responsibilities

• Study blueprints or models to determine materials and machines.
• Calculate dimensions and determine the sequence of operations.
• Measure, mark, and scribe stock; verify dimensions with gauges.
• Set up and operate CNC mill to machine parts and verify conformance.
• Assemble parts and assess fit and function.
• Review dies, tools, and fixtures for potential improvements.
• Develop specifications for specialty tools and sketches as needed.
• Maintain equipment through preventive maintenance.
• Other duties as required.
