Job summary

Architectural Systems, Inc. in Aurora, MO is seeking a first shift CNC machine operator to join our manufacturing team. The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts in a tight-tolerance environment.

The ideal candidate has proven CNC experience, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to quality and safety. Monday–Friday 5:00 AM–2:30 PM with potential Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role.
• Proficiency in operating CNC machines (e.g., milling, turning, drilling).
• Strong mechanical/mathematical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of G-code and CNC programming.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Tape measure and dial/digital caliper use daily.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts and components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on CNC machines.
• Ensure that all parts meet quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production processes.
• Document production activities and maintain accurate records.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
