Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a hands-on CNC operator to set up and run vertical milling centers in a fast-paced shop environment. You will read blueprints, select tooling, upload programs, and perform first-piece inspections using micrometers, calipers and gauges.

You may run multiple machines to meet daily 1–5 setups, collaborating with a team to maintain quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC setup experience on vertical milling centers.
• Strong blueprint reading ability.
• Quality inspection proficiency using micrometers, calipers, gauges.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC vertical milling centers per job orders and specifications.
• Select and install tooling and fixtures; upload programs to the control.
• Interpret blueprints and manufacturing documentation.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and related metrology tools.
• Run up to two machines simultaneously; complete 1–5 setups daily based on workload.
