Job summary

Tempco Mfg - St. Paul Facility is seeking a Precision CNC Milling Programmer to own programming for 3–4 axis VMCs in a metal stamping environment.

You will translate blueprints and GD&T into efficient toolpaths, and author full setup/program sheets to support production uptime. The role requires 5+ years of CNC milling programming experience, advanced CAM tool proficiency (Mastercam, GibbsCAM), and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 5+ years CNC milling programming experience in a metal stamping environment.
• Advanced proficiency with Mastercam, GibbsCAM, or similar CAM tools.
• Strong blueprint/CAD reading and GD&T literacy.

Responsibilities

• Program 3–4 axis CNC milling on VMCs; develop toolpaths for tooling components and precision parts.
• Create complete setup/program sheets: setups, tooling, pickup points, toolpaths, grind stock.
• Program and sustain InspecVision optical inspection routines for automated verification.
• Troubleshoot issues to protect uptime and meet production schedules.
• Collaborate daily with engineering, operators, quality, and production leaders to improve processes.
• Maintain version-controlled documentation aligned with ECNs and customer requirements.
• Follow safety procedures and uphold quality standards and company policies.
