Job summary
Aerotek in Chaska, MN is seeking a CNC Mill Machinist to set up and operate Haas CNC mills, read blueprints, and adjust programs for precision components in a climate-controlled shop.
The role requires 5+ years of CNC experience, proficiency with metrology tools, and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with a small team to meet schedules and overtime may be required to support production goals.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience operating Haas mills and setting up CNC milling equipment.
- Ability to read, interpret, and make minor edits to CNC programs (Fanuc or similar).
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling selection, feeds and speeds, and quality requirements.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling equipment to produce precision components per specifications.
- Read blueprints and drawings to determine machining requirements.
- Make program/offset adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Perform in-process and final inspections with precision tools.
- Troubleshoot equipment and tooling to maintain production flow.
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
