Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to set up and run CNC mills and lathes in Jupiter, FL, inspecting parts to drawings and troubleshooting issues. The role requires hands-on CNC setup experience, blueprint-reading, and proficiency with Fanuc or Haas controls in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The position is contract-to-hire with competitive pay and benefits, including 401(k) match, medical, dental, and vision coverage, and paid holidays. Fully onsite in Jupiter, Florida.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC operation experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with 35 axis CNC machines.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Proficient in machine setup and programming basics.
• Familiarity with Fanuc and Haas controls.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to meet drawing specs and tolerance requirements.
• Review setup sheets, blueprints, and work instructions to determine setup procedures.
• Align and secure fixtures, tools, and materials onto machines.
• Load programs, set offsets, and prepare tools for production runs.
• Inspect machined parts with calipers to verify quality.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and report needed repairs promptly.
• Perform changeovers and maintain productivity during production.
• Work with CNC mills, vertical turning lathes (VTL), and related equipment.
• Follow machining processes for CNC and occasional manual operations.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and collaborate with team.
