H3 Manufacturing Group, LLC is seeking a CNC Mill Machinist for 1st shift in Schaumburg, IL. The role involves operating CNC mills/lathes, performing setups, reading blueprints, and ensuring first-piece quality.

The position requires 2–5 years of CNC experience, strong measurement skills, and adherence to safety and 5S practices. Starting pay is $26–$30/hour with benefits and OT potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years CNC machining or CNC operator experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Proficient in using precision measuring equipment.
• Experience performing machine setups and tool changes.

Responsibilities

• Operate one or more CNC mills, lathes, or other CNC equipment independently.
• Perform routine machine setups, including loading programs, changing tooling, setting offsets, and verifying first-piece quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering drawings, and process documentation.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, and gauges.
• Monitor machine performance and identify opportunities to improve cycle time, quality, and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot routine machining and quality issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
