Responsibilities

  • Independently operate one or more CNC mills, lathes, or other CNC equipment.
  • Perform routine machine setups, including loading programs, changing tooling, setting offsets, and verifying first-piece quality.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering drawings, and process documentation.
  • Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, and gauges.
  • Monitor machine performance and identify opportunities to improve cycle time, quality, and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot routine machining and quality issues and elevate complex problems as needed.
  • Perform basic preventive maintenance and maintain clean, organized workstations using 5S principles.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and company policies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Our CNC Operators are responsible for independently operating and performing routine setups on CNC machines to produce precision components that meet customer specifications.   • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma exposure.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a 10-hour shift.
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequently bend, twist, reach, stoop, and grasp.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate machinery and measuring equipment.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
  • Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Working Conditions
  • Regular exposure to machinery, metal materials, and industrial noise.
  • Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required to meet production demands.
Pay: Starting at $26-30/hourplus 10% 2nd-shift differential
