Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks a Maintenance Mechanic in Rochester, NY, to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines and equipment. The role requires troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems with strong reading of schematics and drawings.

Responsibilities include responding to breakdowns, maintaining records, and supporting installations in a new facility with modern CNC gear for aerospace/defense/medical components. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance, machine repair, or field-service experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Experience with CNC machines or industrial production equipment is preferred.
• Working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines and supporting production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems.
• Diagnose issues involving motors, pumps, bearings, belts, sensors, switches, and related components.
• Complete inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and component replacements.
• Respond to production breakdowns and restore equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Maintain accurate work orders and preventive-maintenance records.
• Support equipment installations, relocations, and facility projects.
• Follow lockout/tagout and all plant safety procedures.
