Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks a focused Machine Operator in Rochester, NY to load programs, set up machines and ensure precision throughout production. You will drill, grind and mill as required while enforcing safety guidelines and quality standards.

The role requires the ability to read blueprints, perform test runs, inspect outputs and report discrepancies to supervisors. Stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs and manage time effectively in a dynamic shop floor environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and operating machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
• Understanding specifications of the task at hand by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, etc.
• Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications
• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
• Report any Part or programming discrepancies to Engineering/Supervisor through proper reporting process
• Main duties as a Machine Operator, but not limited to: maintaining quality output and safety standards.
