Job summary

Hi-Tech Mold & Engineering, Inc. in Rochester, MI is seeking an experienced CNC repair Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machining centers and related equipment in our production environment.

This on-site role requires hands-on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills and the ability to diagnose issues quickly. The successful candidate will participate in preventive maintenance, support building maintenance tasks, and work overtime when needed for emergencies.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in CNC machine repair and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical prints.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements and work a long or extended work week.
• Capable of communicating effectively with coworkers at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
• Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions as necessary for building maintenance.
• Operate forklift and crane.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and scheduled maintenance.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
