Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a CNC Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (5:30 pm–5:30 am, Mon–Thu) in Grand Rapids, MI. You will install, maintain, and repair production CNC machines and plant equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot a range of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a machine shop environment.

Responsibilities include reading manuals, diagnosing faults, replacing parts, using multimeters, and documenting daily tasks.

Qualifications

2+ years of mechanical troubleshooting experience.
Blueprint reading.
Knowledge of pneumatics.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain CNC machines and plant equipment.
Provide emergency and preventative maintenance during production.
Execute simple machinist tasks and general maintenance.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on CNC equipment.
Read manuals and interpret work tasks for required maintenance.
Diagnose issues, replace parts, test, and adjust equipment.
Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines and facilities.
Carry out plumbing, fabrication, maintenance and carpentry tasks.
Use hand/power tools and multimeters; manage material handling equipment.
Detect faults and report issues to supervision; perform other duties as needed.
Perform heavy manual labor and operate lifts (Hilo, Aerial).
Maintain team continuity by documenting daily tasks.
Operate computer systems for equipment control.
