Job summary

Construction Association of Michigan is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for third shift to inspect, service, and repair CNC, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and building systems in an industrial setting.

You will follow a rigorous preventive maintenance schedule, document issues, and coordinate with supervisors, plant management and vendors. A one-year certificate plus 2 years of related experience is required.

Qualifications

Minimum 1-year certificate from college or tech school with related experience.
Equivalent education/experience accepted.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on CNC, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
Install, maintain and repair machinery, structures, piping and electrical systems in industrial environments.
Lay out, assemble, install and maintain pipe systems and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
Repair and replace gauges, valves, and pressure regulators.
Visual inspection and testing of machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot malfunctions and diagnose problems.
Dismantle and replace defective parts; install new components.
Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts.
Maintain 5-S standards and COS initiatives.
Promote Lean Manufacturing principles and Kaizen.
May lift up to 50 pounds; work with management on CI initiatives.
Related duties as assigned by Shift Supervisor or Plant Manager.
