Job summary

Hi-Tech Mold & Engineering, Inc. in Rochester Hills, MI is seeking an experienced CNC Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machining centers and related equipment in a high‑production environment.

This day shift role requires 58+ hour weeks with overtime for emergencies and projects. Responsibilities include mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs; reading prints; preventive maintenance; and assisting with building maintenance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience with CNC machine repair and troubleshooting.
• Mechanical skills in pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical prints.
• Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Must meet physical requirements and be available for 58+ hour weeks, including Saturdays.
• Capable of effective communication with coworkers and multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic repair and maintenance of production machines.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, test and adjust equipment.
• Read manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs as needed and scheduled maintenance during service windows.
• Read and interpret mechanical/electrical prints and maintain documentation.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and facilities.
• Assist building maintenance tasks; operate hand/power tools and meters as required.
• Maintain safety and clean, orderly work areas; comply with safety regulations.
