ReadyLIFT in Ogden, UT is seeking a CNC Machinist to safely operate CNC mills and lathes, inspect finished parts, and maintain tooling and offsets. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work with blueprints and precision measurement tools.

The position includes swing shift with additional pay. Candidates should be capable of maintaining production quality while complying with PM schedules and workplace safety rules.

Formación

• Previous CNC machining or CNC production experience.
• Ability to operate CNC mills and/or CNC lathes.
• Working knowledge of G-code and M-code.
• Ability to change, touch off, and adjust CNC tooling.
• Ability to adjust tooling and work offsets.
• Read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
• Use measuring and inspection equipment to verify part dimensions.
• Basic math skills applicable to machining and dimensional inspection.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and succeed in a dimensional inspection test.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate CNC equipment following safety procedures and regulations.
• Work under the direction of the Shift Lead while operating up to two CNC mills or two CNC lathes.
• Meet production and productivity goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Monitor cutting tools for wear and replace tooling as necessary.
• Change and touch off tooling and perform program restarts.
• Read blueprints and dimensions and adjust tooling/work offsets as needed.
• Measure finished parts and verify dimensions against blueprints.
• Complete dimensional inspection sheets and quality documentation.
• Deburr components and install hardware as required.
• Maintain coolant levels and monitor concentration.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and proper waste segregation.
• Report equipment or production issues to Shift Lead.
