Job summary

Mountain Machining in West Valley, Utah is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. You will set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, read blueprints and GD&T, adjust settings for part accuracy, and perform first article inspections with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

You will troubleshoot machine issues, work with programming to improve processes, maintain machines, and follow safety protocols in a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role.
• Proficiency with G-code and M-code programming adjustments.
• Strong understanding of machining principles and cutting tool applications.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T symbols.
• Experience using precision measuring tools and performing quality checks.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Maintains a positive and professional attitude
• Work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
