Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate machine centers and perform setups for parts to specification. You will read blueprints, use precision tools, and verify measurements to ensure quality.

The role requires adaptability to multiple stations, occasional overtime, and safe handling of tools and equipment. Ideal candidates have at least 6 months in a similar role, a high school diploma or equivalent, and CNC experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred.
• Must have at least 6 months in similar role.
• Experience reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools required.
• CNC machining experience strongly preferred.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machine centers per process/program set by Manufacturing Engineering.
• Work across multiple stations and setups.
• Detect malfunctions and adjust controls during operation.
• Verify conformance using micrometers, calipers, gauges; ensure accuracy.
• Set up and run trials to verify machine settings and data.
• Assemble components with jigs, fixtures, and hand tools; verify alignment.
