Qualifications

• Advanced CNC machining skills with proper work holding, tooling, setup, fixturing and offsets.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings and tolerance requirements.
• Proficient use of basic measuring tools to verify part quality.
• Knowledge of basic G and M codes and ability to edit programs.
• Strong communication and ability to instruct operators.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read drawings/prints and verify tolerances.
• Use micrometers, calipers and gauges to inspect parts.
• Edit machine programs and upload/download programs.
• Instruct operators on loading, machining, unloading.
• Address issues during machining and tool changes as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and document production data.
